Post by DugPost by Sp QrHEADLINE: United Methodists promise to demolish one of their churches
each time Quran is burned
OVERVIEW: The United Methodist community in the US is promising that
they will demolish one of their churches every time that a Quran in
the world is burned.
Why don't the Methodist retards try relocating their faith to the nearest,
most convenient islamofascist state? The rest of us will all see how
that pans out for them.
Perhaps they could try Saudi Arabia, the birthplace of Islam and
literal mecca for Muslims around the world:

"What happens to the Bibles confiscated by the Saudi government?
According to sources, the Bibles are shredded. People caught inside
Saudi Arabia who have more than one Bible, arrested. The penalty,
lashing. Saudi Arabia ruled by Shariah law, laws based on the
interpretation of the Koran."

As you can see, Saudi Arabia does not permit religious freedom for
Methodists or anyone else, and routinely confiscates and destroys
bibles. Any Methodist who attempted to proselytize in Saudi Arabia
could face execution, though first-time offenders are often just
sentenced to flogging and imprisonment.
Some have asked the obvious question of what would have occurred had
Terry Jones described his koran burning as "art" instead of a
"protest":

"Piss Christ is a controversial photograph by U.S. artist Andres
Serrano. It shows a small plastic crucifix supporting the body of
Jesus Christ submerged in a glass of the artist's urine."
"The piece caused a scandal when it was exhibited in 1989, with
detractors accusing Serrano of blasphemy and others raising this as a
major issue of artistic freedom. On the floor of the United States
Senate, Senators Al D'Amato and Jesse Helms expressed outrage that the
piece was supported by the National Endowment for the Arts, since it
is a federal taxpayer-financed institution."
"Piss Christ is often used as a test-case for the idea of freedom of
speech, and was described in the journal Arts & Opinion as 'a clash
between the interests of artists in freedom of expression on the one
hand, and the hurt such artworks may cause to a section of the
community on the other.'"

'Piss Christ' is an excellent example of the double-standard among the
leftards who are vigorously protesting the koran burning. At the
time, leftards denounced the cancellation of the 'Piss Christ' exhibit
as censorship, and argued that blaspheming the sacred symbols of
xianity was acceptable in the name of "artistic freedom." The artist
received a few death threats and his Piss Christ exhibit was
vandalized, acts that were condemned by leftards as intimidation and
censorship. But in the end, nobody was killed over it.
I've been asking this question repeatedly on this and similar threads:
Why do leftards defend the right to insult and blaspheme Christianity
and its "sacred" texts and symbols, but not the "sacred" texts and
symbols of Islam? So far I have not received an intelligible answer
from a single leftard. A related question is why leftards like "Ray
Fischer" believe Christianity to be the biggest threat to the First
Amendment when it is Muslims killing people for exercising their First
Amendment rights?
Finally, don't think for a second that caving in to Islamist threats
over koran burning will appease them, since it is not just our freedom
of speech that offends them; our bodies -- indeed, EVERYTHING about
our culture -- is offensive to Islam:

"Billboard adverts featuring partial nudity are being defaced by
Muslim activists who are offended by displays of flesh. The
advertising watchdog has confirmed that increasing numbers of posters
are being torn down or painted over in predominantly Islamic areas. A
website giving advice on how to vandalise billboards and listing
potential targets has been set up by a group calling themselves
Muslims Against Advertising (MAAD)."
"The [Advertising Standards Authority] told Triumph to remove its
advert for Sloggi thongs from a billboard near a mosque in Bury, after
complaints and a petition. One Muslim reportedly complained that it
was 'insulting' and constituted 'environmental pollution.'"
